Happy Birthday Layt

Layton turned 4 on April 28th so we celebrated his party on Saturday, May 2nd with a Star Wars party (who's surprised?) Saturday afternoon was horrible weather so we started to worry that nobody would show up. We were under a tornado watch and it was raining and hailing so bad that it was hard to see outside. Everyone was drenched when they arrived. Trying to act coy and not wanting to take any more pictures. The men were on the porch watching the bad weather so Layton had to join them. Look how grey it looks out there. This was at 4pm. Adam asked a friend of his, Jeremy Casebolt, to come and dress up as Darth Vader and surprise the children with a light saber duel with Layton. Before everyone arrived Jeremy and Layton were upstairs practicing. Jeremy is a senior at Heath High School and such a great guy. Thank you Jeremy!

Then he came down the stairs and everyone loved it. He played it up really well and they had a good time with it.

Layton blew out his Darth Vader candle twice before we got through the song.
