R.A. Racecar Derby

Logan and Adam love R.A.'s and they do

something fun each Wedneday night.

Last Wednesday they finally finished their

Derby cars. They sanded, designed, painted,
added the wheels and put weights on their cars.
Friday night were the Racecar Derby Races. They
raced by grade levels and then the winner of

each grade level raced against each other

to get the Grand Champion!
Here is Logan's car: It's named Luke.

Surprise - Surprise

On your mark! Get set! Go!Are you wondering where Logan's car, Luke, is?

Well notice the arm at the bottom of the picture.

It won by that much. The winner of the 1st grade Race is:

Logan (Luke) Gerhart!

Then he raced in the Grand Champion race

and he won it. Wow! Look at that Luke car.
Can you believe that a 1st grader was the

Grand Champion race too? We can't! Those two tropies are so special to Logan.

Both trophies and the car were on

display on top the the entertainment center

in the living room for a few days but they

now have a very special place of honor in

Logan's room.

Layton and Landry and Sis and Mommy were

there for the first race but went home to

get the littles in bed so when

Logan and Adam walked in from

the races he had Adam announce: And now

for the winner of the 1st grade race

and Grand Champion: Logan Gerhart!

We are all so proud and excited for Logan.

I haven't seen him so excited in a long time.

For a few days he just kept giggling and

saying, I can't believe I won both races!
