Jedi's

Layton is playing soccer for the first time this season. He scored the first game but has just run around the field the rest of the time. I bride him each game with gum so he will run and play with the rest of the team. He is on a team with his 3 best friends, Jackson Cilio, Jordon Odom and Tate Marecle. Jackson's and Tate's dads also help coach. It's been a fun season.

happy birthday to me

October 9th was my birthday. Allie and mom cooked for me that weekend. I got to choose the menu. I chose a delicious shrimp and garlic dish, onion and pepper angel hair pasta, salad, garlic bread. I also got to have my very own little mint chocolate chip ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins.
My entire life I have wanted a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake.My littles helped me open my presents. They were so cute and acted excited for me.
Precious new lamp from Allie.

My favorite sight

My very favorite sight to see is when I notice my children being kind and enjoying each other. I was cooking dinner and looked up to see my precious Logan reading to his sweet little brother. What good brothers. I pray that their relationship only strengthens as they grow older together.

Spirit Day

Friday at Wylie Prep was spirit day because of the football game that night. Logan got to wear his new spirit shirt and jeans. He felt really neat because this is the shirt that all the kids have, even the upper school. He also got to wear his new jacket from Mammie. She gave it to him for his birthday and we had the school logo put on it. Isn't he a sweet boy?

Almost a Big Girl Bed

For about 2 weeks now Landry has been climbing out of her baby bed during naptime. This weekend. Over the past 2 nights she climbed out of her bed early in the morning and walked around the house. I decided since she was getting out of her bed anyway she should have the side off her bed. Adam took it off last night and we put the little side on just so she couldn't fall out. Here she is all excited about sleeping in an "almost big girl bed".
Her big brothers are excited for her. Layton stood there and explained how he and Logan slept in this bed when they were 2 years old with this little side on it. (which is not true)
We still have pasies in bed only but those are the next step in being a big girl.
This was at about 11pm last night. She is sleeping very good in her bed. She went right to sleep after I walked out of her room. Her brothers got out of their beds 100 times that first night!
I had to add some of the sleeping brothers too.

She slept all night in her bed and came down the stairs about 7:15am this morning. What a good girl!

Day 3 - Magic Kingdom

Day 3 (Tuesday) started out with a character breakfast. We went to the Best Friends breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at the Polynesian Hotel. It was such a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous property. We had to ride the bus to Magic Kingdom and then catch a boat to the hotel. We had a yummy breakfast and had a fun time with Lilo and Stitch and the other characters.
Layton had an all meat breakfast.
Mickey waffles!
This is the sight you see as you dock at the Polynesian Hotel. Wow!
Landry took a purse with her each day. She is getting good at matching it to her outfit now. This is her new one she bought the day before.
It was a super boat ride back to the Magic Kingdom too.
This is the first thing we saw when we finally made it back in to the Magic Kingdom.
We went straight to the Buzz Lightyear ride.
Everything was decorated so super for the fall season.
This was in Minnie Mouse's house. Landry really loved her couch.
Then she got to play with everything in Minnie's kitchen.
This is Mickey's bedroom. Logan commented, "I guess boys houses are messier than girls!"
As we walked by Cinderella's castle we watched a show. It was Cinderella with Prince Charming, Mickey and Minnie, Aurora with Prince Philip and Snow White with her prince.
Landry really didn't feel very comfortable with any of the characters. Snow White was so patient and kind to her. She showed her a lot of attention and spoke really quietly and stayed down on her level. She loved Snow White!
The bus driver on the way back to the hotel let Logan sit in his chair and pretend to drive.
