Happy Monday

I was in the kitchen prepping for dinner and
then turned back to look at Layton and
this is how he looked. Poor little boy
was just too tired to go on.

The boys love their sunglasses!
Sissy loves a pasie!

Asleep in a Heap

Asleep in a Heap
Has anyone read that book?
That is all I could think about when
I walked up to check on the boys and
saw this. They love to sleep together
and they started out sleeping correctly
in layton's bed but changed to this position
sometime.

Sunday morning

I love to take pictures of the kiddos all dressed
up on Sunday mornings. They look more alike
each day.
Mammie bought Landry this new dress
with a matching one for Baby Ally.

Guy's fishing trip

Over Spring Break Logan and Adam went to Conroe
to visit Grandmother and G and go for a guy's
fishing trip. Logan had a terrific time and it was
nice for the big guys to have a little time together.
Logan and G are ready early in the morning to
get to the lake. Logan caught 2 fish and one turtle
by himself.

There was a slight cold front that came in so it was very
cold on the boat when they were driving. Logan snuggled
down in a sweatshirt to keep warm.

Thanks to Grandmother and G for a great few days!

Caldwell again

Papa has a new lift chair to help him while
his shoulder is still healing. I let the kids
experience it a few times. Here they
are down and all the way up. Notice
how Landry is clinging on to
Layton so she doesn't fall out.

Papa's state quarter fascination is still going strong
and maybe larger than ever. Now that the state
quarters are all out and complete he has started
collecting the Presidential golden dollars.
Normally it's just Papa and Logan putting all the
quarters into place but this time Layton and
Landry even gotin on the action.

Another big event of the weekend was for
Adam and Papa to complete our taxes.
They got them all finished and sent off. Yea!
Aren't they cute?

Of course there is always a stop at Dairy Queen
on any car trip.

Caldwell

The 5 of us went to Caldwell to visit Nana and Papa.
We were all looking forward to resting and eating
well like always. The kids loved taking a bath in
Nana's jacuzzi tub with lots of bubbles. A good time
was had by all. Thank you Nana and Papa for a
fun weekend.

They all loved laying in Nana and Papa's bed to watch a
show after a bubbly bath.

Another first for Sissy

Landry got doggie ears! Her hair is getting so long
that I decided to try to put her hair up in doggie
ears. It worked and she looked adorable!
She was so proud of herself. She looked at herself
in the mirror and I said, "you are the cutest
thing I have ever seen." She said back to me,
"and you mommy!" What a precious little girl.
This day we went to Bible study and she walked in
the church and looked around to see who all
would compliment her. As we walked outside she
held her hair so it wouldn't blow.
She loved herself that day.

A first for Sissy

Landry got to choose a nail polish at Wal-Mart
today. I assumed she would choose "hawtpek"
but she chose light pink with glitter instead.
She didn't really get the idea of not touching
anything after but she was so cute. She kept
saying, "second coat" after I explained that
I was going to paint a second coat on them.
After I painted them she sat really still and then
pushed her hair out of her eyes and then put them
back down carefully. It was so funny to see her
being so careful like I showed her but not
really knowing what I meant. By the way,
Logan took the pictures and was
very proud of it.

1st Grade Field Trip

Logan's 1st grade field trip was to the Plano
Children's Theatre to see Babe. Then we went
to Kid's Kingdom in Rowlett for a picnic and to
play for a while. It was a good day and the
kids loved it. Adam and I both went as
chaperons and we enjoyed watching the kids
have a super time.

Nathan Calloway, Brandon Dittrich and Logan.

Logan with the cast of Babe.
All of Mrs. Gilbert's 1st grade class.
After the class picture Logan busted out with some
dance moves. Who out there is surprised?
